I am happy to release a new premium WordPress theme from Blog Oh! Blog called Slidepress. This is a unique, one of its kind, WordPress theme that allows you to showcase your blog posts in the form of slides instead of just normal text (also the reason for naming this theme as Slidepress). This theme can be used by anyone who wants a different and lively look for his blog.

Why the sliding posts?

Usually when readers go through your blog, they have two choices of navigation :- Either scroll down through a long list of posts and get lost in them, OR, navigate through different pages to view the posts. Slidepress saves your readers’ time 🙂 . The hard work of converting your blog posts into individual slides is totally handled by Slidepress. All you need to do is make the posts and set the number of posts you want to see sliding on the home page of your blog (this can be done through your wp-admin -> settings -> reading).

Other features of this theme include :-

  • Unique layout & design
  • Slider posts
  • Custom drop-down menu for pages & sub-pages
  • Widgetized sidebars at the bottom
  • Uniquely designed comments section
  • Eye-catching blog description with the title
  • 125×125 banner ads + 468×60 ad ready
  • Formatted gallery for WP 2.5+
  • Valid CSS/XHTML code
  • Gravatar Ready
  • Custom 404 Error page
  • Full post-sales support

The theme has been successfully tested in IE6, IE7, Safari and Firefox without any problems.

Slidepress comes packaged with :-

  • Theme Core files
  • Two plugins -> Advanced Excerpt & Gravatar
  • License File
  • Help File

I have reasonably priced the single-user license of Slidepress at $49.99. So, if you are looking for a theme change and want your readers to surf through your posts in a unique way, go for Slidepress.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

Thanks for another magnificent post. Where else could anyone get that kind of info in such an ideal way of writing? I’ve a presentation next week, and I’m on the look for such info.

Nice theme!

It really does improve the interface for users.
However I would recommend you to put the buttons above a post.. I still have to scroll just a little.
