cool this is what i scored for using wordpress for 1 month

You scored 10 out of 18.

Your performance has been rated as ‘Satisfactory’

Great Plugin!
Thanks mate

14/18, woo.

Quiz could use some updates though, 3.0.1 isn’t the version number any longer and “Hello Dolly” really is a song sung by Louis Armstrong, you say so yourself in the answer, so get rid of that option or make it the right one. Just pointing out those two errrrorrrs.

So, I got 16/18 of the answers right, you got 16/18 of the questions right. πŸ˜‰

What’s the latest release version of WordPress?

The latest WordPress version is 3.0.1

I play this quiz when the version 3.0.2 is out, and choosing 3.0.2 lead me to a wrong answer and decrease my score πŸ˜›

Scored 11 out of 18.
Your performance has been rated as ‘Competent’

Fair, being that I recently started playing around
with WordPress again. Room for improvement and
reason enough to sharpen my WordPress skills again.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed doing the quiz. Thanks.

You scored 17 out of 18.
Damn, that Plugin one is really cocky. Technically, you can install as many plugins as you wish. Let’s stick to the question/answer not the practical implementation, shall we πŸ˜€

hehe nice quizz! 16 from 18, one by clicking wrong by mistake and 1 was like hmm “theoretically” you can put as many plugins you want.. but yeah serious performance issues does appear if they are to many

The only question I got wrong was:
Can I install any number of plugins in my WordPress?
I answered yes because you can install any number.

Your correct answer is:
No, plugins are heavy scripts and overload the CPU of your hosting server.

Which wasn’t what you asked.

Aww, the question about number of plugins is lame πŸ˜‰
I did enjoy the quiz though and would love to procrastinate some more; does anyone know of any other quizzes related to wordpress, seo, marketing, etc?

You scored 15 out of 18.

I am glad you take pride in what you write. This makes you stand way out from many other writers that push poorly written content.

eeee

I am hoping the same best effort from you in the future as well. In fact your creative writing skills has inspired me.

Thanks for making a cool quiz! I scored 16 out of 18. This question has the wrong answer programmed for true: “Can I install any number of plugins in my WordPress?” The correct answer is “yes”, yes you can . I understand the point that you are making here and completely agree, but at the end of the day, a user can install as many plugins as he or she desires. Whether or not it is a good idea is a completely different question.

16/18

I picked “SEO-friendly” answer on permalinks. Archives (categories, tags, dates) have permalinks as well, not only posts and pages. Also non-permalink URLs are kinda permanent as well. Actually they are more permanent because slug can be easily changed, but things like post ID not.

And answered wrong on plugins. I second that one being too much of blanket statement. It’s not quantity of plugins that matters for performance, it is specifics of each plugin.

Blog with hundred of plugins can perform better than blog with ten.

16 of 18 … just missed Tagline and the number of plugins questions. I never use more than a dozen plugins anyway – so a cap on the number really isn’t an issue.

Cool quiz!

Can you really make a blanket statement that most plugins “create a lot of load on CPU and may crash your site if used excessively”? I don’t doubt that a lot of plugins are poorly written, cause unnecessary database queries, load on EVERY page when you just need it on one, etc.

You have answered your own question πŸ™‚ “I don’t doubt that a lot of plugins are poorly written, cause unnecessary database queries, load on EVERY page when you just need it on one, etc.”

Slug – is incorrect, sort of…. In the WP admin – slug is referred to in both Category and Tag (admin pages) – but when you review any post – the url is directly referred to as the permalink. Only in the quick edit box is that link referred to as the slug… so the slug would have to be pages/categories/and tags – but not just “Search Engine friendly version of the post title”

Also I agree @Svilen Popov, your “Plugin” answer is subjective and not the logical answer of the question “Can I install any number of plugins in my WordPress?”… but I agree that many plugins are heavy and that too many plugins will deteriorate a blogs performance. Go tell Joost or WooThemes that the plugins they write are worthless… πŸ™‚

Yes i am totally agreed with this article and i just want say that this article is very nice and very informative article.I will make sure to be reading your blog more. You made a good point but I can’t help but wonder, what about the other side? !!!!!!THANKS!!!!!!

“You scored 17 out of 18.” but in my mind it’ll be 18/18.

I think the question about how many plugin can we install is not correctly asked (or maybe i don’t understand it). Yes, its not recommended to install lots of plugins, but if someone wants to do it – why not.

You scored 14 out of 18.
Your performance has been rated as ‘Good’
In 2 of them, i wanted to choose the right answer, but i chose wrong ones by mistake and my real score is 16 out of 18 πŸ˜€
