How to install the theme?
- Download the angel.zip file and extract it on your desktop.
- This theme uses a plugin for displaying Gravatars next to your comments. The plugin is included in a sub-folder called “Plugins” in the theme folder (you will see it when you extract the files).
- Copy the gravatar.php plugin to your wp-content/plugins folder in the wordpress installation and activate it.
- Now copy the “Angel” theme folder to wp-content/themes in the wordpress installation.
- Finally activate the theme from wp-admin -> design section.
This theme has been tested with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari browsers and no bugs have been observed.
Why have you named the theme as “Angel”?
Because, Angels are everywhere 🙂

I really like it too, it’s very simple. Adding some colorful pictures would really make it attractive, and draw a lot of attention to them (great for banner ads or helpful links)

I like the simple layout! With a few tweaks you can easily customize this theme. The widgets on the sidebar are great!
Is there any way to make pictures show up with the posts on the main page? I have pictures in my individual post, but it doesn’t show up with the post summary.
Nice work Jai, I have used it for my website now. Can I ask how to include photos in the latest entry page so when people visit the website they can see some pictures? I found people might not interested to click in to read more when there is no pictures. Thanks Lulu

I LOVE looking for new themes. (Only wish I had time to use them all!) In this case, I was particularly looking for a theme with navigation at the bottom as I’ve heard that’s good for SEO purposes and this one looks to be well optimized plus has a nice, clean style. I like the layout. Really visitor-friendly!

Is there a way for me to remove/edit the “about me”, “why not subscribe” and the ad space segments in the sidebar?
You see, I am new to wordpress and am just finding my way around it while creating a webpage for my organization. Since its a non-profit we want this page to inform people about our activities and the like. We do not want to place any advertisements etc.

Yes,ANGELS are real. Every one of us has the protection of a guardian angel. They work behind the scenes to help us and protect us. You may even see one and never know it was an angel. How facinating is that ? !!
How can I alter the text in the ‘about me’ section on the main page. Also, those four images, they all have the same url, so i can’t see how to add my own images there. I looked all over the place for help, but have finally come here to ask for assistance. Thanks for the great theme.

Loving the theme and all, but I can’t read comments.. I don’t know why, I just installed the theme. When I want to read the comments the page just cuts off after the entry… Anyone else had this problem?

@malcarada:- With a little editing, you can remove the Read More Link and the complete entry will appear. I have it like that on my site.

I usually like all of your themes, but this one is an exception, sorry but no, I can’t make the visitors click on “read more” in order to see the post, I know they will not do that, people are lazy,people have little time, peole will not be clicking on “read more”, that is my oppinion, besides that the theme design is very pretty.
